Insight Poem by Kervin Jno Charles

Insight

Certainly: on occasion we display splinters of insight
Thus, we communicate words of spiritual charm, words of wisdom with intellect defeated
But like the overthrow of mist by midday it fades once more into a dormant slumber
Spiritual charm, wisdom with intellect defeated sporadically spark in personal solitude
But one step into the muddy concert of animated corpses and that jewel becomes soiled
Absolutely vanquished by particles of saturated grime
