Inside Me Poem by Michael Peterson

Inside Me

What's on the inside of me
Worries and stress to begin with
The mind is so full of good and evil
Happiness hides the pain inside
Tears fall almost daily
The cries for help never come out
The mind wanders in many directions
Some times something simple gets lost
More it's everyday life not going right
Dreams inside me twists my reality
From real to imaginary things
Am I doing the right thing
Do I follow my dreams
Or live the nightmares
Will my mind ever stop wandering
Medicines do work wonders
But the dreams diminishes
False hope lies inside me
