Insanity Of Love Poem by Shabati Dokyu

Insanity Of Love

Rating: 5.0

Hurry hurry my love so meddled purely
Fetch me from the abyss of thy shrouded melancholy,
For its darkness turns me gray and fray,
And thy soul is abdicated from its sanity.

My vanity was profaned by roman'ted words
'Twas demeaned a speckle beneath those insane'ted words
And became insignificant to your inwordable reason
With my brain twiddled between reason and emotion
To comprehend the scourge you hewn me adone

Now those fancy words deluded me to you
And the verdict of thee ebbed me feebled.
I wonder why such a woman as you
Be deceiving when thy stature speaks an innocence scarcely found
And thy face be labeled with such beauty profound
That my eye cant seem to recognize as reality

Now my question my deared woman of the heart
What magic weighs me buried to insanity?
What beauty in you gays my heart to frolic excessively,
When all earthed things i envy becomes demeaned
And all questions that arised as irrationality be enfeebed?
Its puzzling as ever to a mediocre of shunned emotions
And guilty always why such questions baffles him so more

You write beautifully in heightened poetic diction. A well articulated love poem, elegantly brought forth from the heart with conviction. A lovely piece indeed. Thanks for sharing Shabati. Please read my poem THE OBSESSIVE AGONY OF LUST.
