Insanity Poem by Brooke Ashlyn

Insanity

They say I’m bi-polar
I might have an anxiety disorder
They told me I suffer from depression
And sometimes I get a little to angry
It funny how no one noticed any of this until it was to late
I was already in a mental hospital
It had a five star rate
I remember everything about it
In a moment of madness I submit
I didn’t mean to go crazy
It just happened
Everything got a little bit hazy
I remember the people
I remember their faces
I remember their names
I remember their races
I remember the feeling of complete insanity
It makes you forget about humanity
I hated how you felt you couldn’t handle me yourself
You left me all alone
I was a doll on a shelf
An old toy you didn’t want anymore
