Finding my wings
Floating
Fluttering
Flying

High above
All the drama of life
Lifting up my soul as a move along the day
Avoiding those images
That can bring me crashing down

Surrounding myself
With my own voice
Guiding me along

Not brought down
By the words of others
Moved to complain
Or criticize
Throughout their life

Remembering to hold on
To the good in us all
Discarding the bad

Walking in compassion
As we travel
Along this life
