Infinite Moves Poem by Brandon Lucero

Infinite Moves

Damned is the man who abandons himself
damned is the man abusing trust
damned are we that judge and lust

Saved are those letting go
saved are us that humble our tongue
saved are the children dying young

Souls are born then forged
in life's endless ice
in life's endless fire

We eat, we sleep, we love, we desire

All those happenings sought
fists of fury
bursts of thought

Cherish the generations before and after
showing the way
ethic
love
character

Hold the hands of newborn beings
lights that navigate
all those inspirations and dreams

Damned and saved walk together
dreaming
hoping
things will get better

The enlightened understand
in fundamental ways
love is the constant
keeping darkness at bay

Our comprehension will greatly improve
as God so deftly makes infinite moves

Love and compassion
beauty and passion
