Independent I Am? Poem by DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK

Independent I Am?

How independent I am
Whenever- of Him
I think- of breath
I think- He comes
In length and breadth
Suffusing me
With faith and strength
Whenever- of death
I think
The sweet heaven He breathes
Things blossom- things die
Perceived and felt
What if- I cry
Without Him- outset
Spells movement slow
With doubts beset
Still I say
I am independent
Dependence is a product blessed with
Since the moment you land on this earth
Doubt not- deny not
For He is Sovereign
Knows thy worth best…………
