Indeed Poem by Natalie Nicole Story

Indeed

Maybe I should
But I don't trust you
Old you…you battered shoe
horn that's worn away at my soul
my sanity…my life
force your way into the picture
making your will my own
lostness…softness gone
in the wind of experience
pain and blackness
overtook me once before
you were here things were lighter
and brighter than the noon
day times like the sun
shines brilliantly on my bones
brittle from a broken spirit
flows out of my belly
full of living water now
there is nothing I can NOT do
all things through Christ who
strengthens me,
a follower of Christ
a lover of all
forgiven from sins
washed clean from his blood
poisoning completely healed
my shame and regret
nothing and forgive everything
is in you that is in me that is in him
indeed.
