Incurable Hypocrisy Poem by venessa ambrose

Incurable Hypocrisy

The entire house
Power seeking men
Smiling vipers
Beautiful vampires
Fun seeking lioness
Foes in friend clothing
Are all diseased
Yes! they are diseased
With a terminal case
And what scares me
Is the fact
They are around us
Its a two faced illness
The real illness
And the other
Each disease has its time
In light one comes
In darkness the other
Africa is great
Africa is poor and dyeing
That's the disease speaking
Its echoed sound
Never speaking in harmony
So many discord yet
The tragic turn
Lies in one truth
The disease is incurable
It enjoys killing
Making fools out of men
Destroying the mighty
What an ailment!
Its highly infectious
Like cancer it moves
Tarnishing a nation
Killing a foundation
INCURABLE HYPOCRISY!
