I've stood with in your shadow
And watched you live your life
And while you were having fun
I'd be alone and wonder why

They say that love between the two
One gives the heart and soul
Well I've been giving everything
My heart died long ago

I've watched you laugh and carry on
Life was yours to live
While I shared my tears alone
Now I've nothing more to give

I've walked with in your shadow
And I was last to you
How much can one heart take
Mine broke because of you

I was so in love with you
But here I am, and I wonder why
How could I have been so alone
While standing at your side

I walked with in your shadow
While you just lived your life
While you were out having fun
I was alone, and I cried

I walked with in your shadow
Each day I slowly died
How could I have been so alone
While standing at your side

Now you can live your life
When you find that I am gone
Maybe tears will comfort you
When your home and all alone.
