In Vice Universa

In Vice Universa
spies
are responsible
for the secrets beneath the lids of pies;

women who rhyme with that other word for 'beginnings'
are responsible
for lidless pies with all on display
(or vice versa: the opposite of here anyway):

and stereotypical homosexual guys
gave them their adjective
for 'full of play'.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
formerly,

Word-Play

Someone high
saw secrecy in pies,
saw 'spies';

saw open pies,
as on display,
as good as tarts;

saw a gay,
saw he's the word
for 'full of play'.
