In Those Days Poem by Gianfranco Aurilio

In Those Days

In those days
when the sun lights
the contours of the clouds
that now and then
let glimpse the sky,
when my spirit does not know
whether to follow the sadness
of the shadows of the evening
that slowly appear
or the cheerfulness of the light
that veiled filters,
in those days
I stand still to recompose
distant echoes
of small
unforgotten
unforgettable
fragments of love.
