In the survival philosophy of UBUNTU
Written in the conscience of our people
Humankind and Human Kindness do not
Only occupy the same page, line and space
But they are found one within the other
So that
Ignorance of one leads to the ultimate
Annihilation of the other, and vice versa
What better truth than that which is found
In two hands washing each the other,
Or at the end of a heroic battle
Each warrior washing the other’s wounds
Winners and losers at the same river bank
