In The Name Of God Poem by Dr Igbinedion Obaretin

In The Name Of God

The things done,
The things undone,
The conspiracy against Adam,
The unholy rape of holy volition,
All in the name of God.

The field of blood battle cultivated in holy places
With the seeds of differences and hate,
With holy robes soiled in dirty politics, proclaiming still
Endless circle of violence against Adam's seeds,
All in the name of God.

Is this the Faith that Christ did define?
The true worshippers that walk the narrow way,
Worship in truth and in spirit
Not in the synagogues of organized religions.

I am not a Jew
I am not of the Christendom
I am not an Arab
I am not what you are

I am of the lonely few, searching
For the narrow gate to the narrow path.
I bear the burden of truth,
The burden of love for Adam's seeds
Liberated from the error of differences.
