In The Dark At Christmas Poem by Marilyn Lott

In The Dark At Christmas

Christmas lights bring happiness
There is nothing quite like it it seems
We can put ourselves into a world
Of fantasy in our Christmas dreams

Lighted trees in the windows at night
Santa and sleigh on the sill
A lightness flows within our hearts
There is a peace that Christmas fills

Houses change like magic
Outlined in the dark of night
Oh what a wondrous time it is
To view these evening sights

Snow families all lit up so bright
Profiled in the dead of dark
Sometimes so extremely elaborate
They look like the city park

So enjoy this wonderful season
Give thanks to all you hold dear
And merry Christmas to you all
As you keep your loved ones near!
