In Sydney Poem by Alexander Foald

In Sydney

Across the ocean before these eyes
Along the sky above these thoughts
My mind stretches out, reaching to a place
Somewhere in Sydney

I wake up and try to make my day
Walk out of this room and get some coffee
Still I find myself in an empty space between
Here and somewhere in Sydney

Going through a hard times
Thinking that life could be more honest
Wish I could go on holiday and take break
Somewhere in Sydney

Somewhere far from this place
Where I tore my loving heart apart
Somewhere to refill what I have lost
Some kind of love,
Somewhere in Sydney
