In Silence © Poem by Roann Mendriq

In Silence ©

How softly sinks the sun into
the placid, patient ocean;
No need for sound and noise undue,
no chaos and commotion.

How quietly flikers every star,
to light the darkest night;
No fickle flashing from afar,
No need for a bright light.

How calmly does the moonlight glow,
Its soothing rays enlighten;
No garish, gaudy nighttime show
No need to shock and frighten.

Lord, let Your radiance shine in me,
Let me live thus... silently.
