In Search Of You My God. Poem by anisha Kolencherry

In Search Of You My God.

Rating: 4.8

I sang songs of love
in search of you my God.

Singing i came down to the wilderness.

Nothing was clear.
Everything was vague.

I saw through a thin shroud.

You are there in wide open place.

This place seems never ending.
long and wide in the wilderness.

In Search Of You My God.

Loved your poem. Got a soothing feeling after reading it. The picture is appropriate, God's beam of ray enlightening a searching mind. Really nice!

I can feel the intensity of your longing to meet God face to face! When we sing songs of love in praise of Him, our inner eye may catch visions of His radiant face! I am sure you had such a vision! A lovely write!

I remember when I was very young, spontaneously breaking out into song to praise god when I was out in the largeness of nature.

Sranisha, The quest for almighty is eons old. But as Sant Kabeer Das said, Tera Saayee tichh mein, jyom puhpan mein baas! : - God resides in oneself; but we continue search him in temples and churches; but, donot turn and look into our own mind. Or as Ulloor, the famous Malayalam poet said, atuthu nilporanujane nokkan akshikal illathorku aroopan Easwaran adhrushyan aayal athilenthashcharyam? - There no wonder that God is invisible to those who do not use their eyes to look (with sympathy) at their brothers in pain near them. Your poem inhales energy from these ancient stalwarts and exudes infinite love for God and through him, to the entire humanity. Great work. Keep writing.
