In Quest Of Truth Poem by Rimni chakravarty

In Quest Of Truth

It is my quest to find me in this vast space
From where I came
I hear people speak of divine grace
And i too believe in the same
But why to believe in divinity I have not seen?
I have only heard of it although I am very keen
I am keen to reach out to the Divine
And enjoy as I shine
Bask in the divine glory
And unfold its story

I have not seen the divine presence
but this world nothing holds for permanence
All I feel happy when in the morning warm breeze blow
the birds chirp and even if i lie low
I am pulled up from my transient state
I can never then coax my fate
But cheer amidst despair
I realize divinity is within me
Burden with worldly thoughts 'am unable to see
Divinity is to smile
And twinkle like stars in life profile.
This is my quest for truth
Which when find enervates me to soothe
Like a balm on my forehead
In peace I lay down on my bed.
