Nikole Baugh

in my state of mind

in my state of mind, people do not sing
birds do not chirp, rainbows do not show

in my state of mind, everything is black
the world ceised to turn, the path wasn't there

in my state of mind, everything was sad
depressed some might say
happiness-not in my dictionary

in my state of mind, nothing can hurt me
razorblades are a mere voice of love
words and sticks, stones and brass
all these things juss so they can get some ass

yeah im talking about rape, not me on u
him on me, that day changed me, ruined me

he took all of my inocense, all of my caring
he took all the nice things out of me

so now, in my state of mind, i am a mere toy
a slave, for boys with no control

all in my state of mind
