In My Old Age Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

In My Old Age

Rating: 5.0

When ripe age will grip my
Heart and mind
I would be helpless and leave
My dreams behind

Lying motionless by the side
Of the window
I will smile watching your face
In the rainbow

Warm sunshine after rain will
Fall on my face
I will close my eyes at the touch
Of your tress

With my skin sagging like a bag
Of old wool
My love for you will end like
Dream of a fool

Through all seasons I will watch
The changing skyline
So long you are in my heart I will
Be feeling fine
