The lies I told
the truth I know
you're in my heart
but I don't let it show.

I fell for you
you didn't care
then i got hurt
from the memories we share

I think back on the times
when we were so happy
and you'd say those sweat things
that you thought were sappy

But we're not together
you're no longer mine
though my heart's broken
I act like I'm fine

People ask why
they must not know me
as long as you're happy
that's all I need.
