deep in thought
i sit and stare
not knowing what
i'll find there
deep inside
my mind i see
things that never
came to be
in my eyes
i see your face
i hear your voice
i feel your grace
the pain inside
my broken heart
my fragile soul
ripped apart
in my eyes
your life is gone
my soul is free
