In My Dreams



In my dreams you're here
sitting on my knee
listening to my stories
with childish glee

These dreams sustain me
and keep me sane
So I'll keep taking
these walks down memory lane

Try to supress this awful pain
Till I'm ready to join
the real world
and begin living again.
