In Memoriam Poem by Patrick Fealy

In Memoriam

Lisette

My soul is made more perfect now in absence and regret
And like the heart of friendship that's perfected in neglects
Love magnified a thousand fold by longings that remain
To sing of loves memoriam with melancholic strains
No one is left behind here now nor least of all in worth
I see in you a mystic Christ a friend upon the earth
geography more sacred now your home a holy shrine
A blessed place of pilgrimage of sanctity Devin
Lisette your not forgotten now no closure here is won
Your life is like a blessing where reflection has begun
That in the end we'll see a soul as it was meant to be
With eyes all filled with with wonderment foretelling what to see.
Love Always Your brother Pat
