In Inclement Weather Poem by Joyce Hemsley

In Inclement Weather

Humour Intended

A busy man was Ted
Had to walk through morning snow,
As his car refused to go.
He worked all day at the office
And hobbled home with his
Dear friend Joe. Ted and Joe together
Facing the inclement weather.

Soon came the time to part
'Goodbye Ted' said Joe...
Don't you slip in the dreadful snow'.
'Of course not' said Ted as he
waved cheerio... But poor Joe was
Suddenly flat on his back in the snow
Not crying ~ but laughing ever so.
