In Gratitude To Father Henry Donoghue - Fifty Years A Priest - May 10, 2014

Rating: 5.0

Fifty years a priest you've been,
Fifty years of forgiving sin.
Sacred love propels your life,
While overcoming neglect and strife.

As pastor and as priest of God,
You always stand-in for the Lord.
While counseling those whose faith has waned,
We all find peace in a faith regained.

Now that fifty years have passed,
Our gratitude we express at last.
So now we thank you Father Henry
For having diminished urbane chicanery.

Thank you for the many deeds you've wrought,
Thank you for the love you've brought.
God bless your efforts past and present
God grant you a future, propitious and pleasant!
