In Dreams Poem by Aanuoluwa Adebanjo

In Dreams

Rating: 5.0

Dreams are strange lands we find ourselves
When we close our eyes in sleep
They can be home away from home
And they can be our last resort
Some can be strangely interesting and fascinating
We sometimes don't want to wake up
And even when we do we feel like going back for another adventure
And some can be deadly scary
We just wouldn't wait to wake up
Sometimes we scream out in fear
At other times we find ourselves sweating it all out
Dreams are originated from our sub-consciousness
They are products of our thoughts and imaginations

Wonderful depiction of our dreams and how they manifest themselves in our sleep, sometimes beautiful, other times scary like a nightmare. Great rhythm carrying your poem like a song to be sung. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
