In Crystal Poem by Patti Masterman

In Crystal

Our future’s locked in a crystal ball,
Perhaps not seen in the world at all:
Hollowed echoes of some grand design
That lives in vision, not in time.

The future comes on soft sighing feet
And cloudy dreams are given wings;
Be careful of what you're wishing for
And what those futures may hold in store.
