In Chains Of Secrecy Poem by Rex-mayor Ubini

In Chains Of Secrecy

Rating: 5.0

Eh! Eh! Eh! Eh!
My eyes have heard,
That which my ears could not hear,
My ears have seen,
That which my eyes could not perceive.

Cats and rats kissing glasses
Filled with thick red wine
Caramel mouths gushing out chuckles
And merry deafening air
Exposing the hiding of their gory blades
These are the same rivals
On whose backs we stand as pivots
Divorced social animals
Battling with umbrellas and brooms
Did I say they made us fools?

Eh! Eh! Eh! Eh!
My eyes have heard,
That which my ears could not hear,
My ears have seen,
That which my eyes could not perceive.

Under this mysterious azure ceiling
On which gray fat foams mimics
The sinuous dance of the coast girl
I tell you
The cloud is shedding tears
My eyes are falling rain
On this sinister shade
Pure lips offer sacrifices of apology
To the spirits they bind and cast out

Eh! Eh! My eyes have heard,
That which my ears could not hear,
My ears have seen,
That which my eyes could not perceive
This moves my head side to side in pity,
I say truth is held in chains of secrecy.
