In Any War
This poem is dedicated to the men and women whom have given up their lives in the service of their country.
In any war when the guns fall silent
and peace is at last restored.
Monuments will be built
for all the fallen heroes
while their families mourn.
Each hero will be remembered
for the sacrifice they made,
as the darkness that consumed them
brightens into a new day.
