In Any Race Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

In Any Race

I am not at all in any race
If at all it is there in any case
The day and night passes off peacefully
I consider he day as having spent successfully

I have nothing else to expect
So I pray almighty before start of the day
Ask for mercy if at all something is going to be done wrongly
It gives me some sort of strength to ward of skillfully

At the same way, I repeat at night time
Ask for blissful eye for having done wrong in day time
For so many times, I have been saved from dong wrong
This practice I have followed since long

I have no religious belief behind
But I pray the almighty kind
To infuse me with some right kind of approach
And stay with all common people as such

So there remains good period in between
Where I have enough of time to be seen
Before taking action and after taken
I prepare for self to be forgiven
