In And Out Of Consequence Poem by Robert Macdonald

In And Out Of Consequence

Oh someone please tell me
Where I go when I draw
A little too deep from the well

Calling out to shadows
Of Friends that
I don’t want to leave me
When my heads lost to dreams

Shatter
The window
Escapes what I live for
To laugh and raise
Old roots from the earth

Fathers the devil
He never did nothing
But it’s the ones closest to you
He makes you wanna hurt
