In A Paroxysm Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

In A Paroxysm

She pealed off in a paroxysm of laughter and,
I overheard a sailor-boy lying next to his lady's fair;
But, while the birds were singing,
They made love.
This Lady!
With the sailor-boy;
Adoring him with the eyes of love.
The muse of life!
With the case of love;
As she pealed off in a paroxysm of laughter,
And, the sailor-boy acknowledged her.
