In a meadow, quiet and green
The brook flowing and silent
Under the shade of the apple tree
I nap, relax and wait....

It wasn't long before, I heard a light sound
A happy giggle it was
Coming from one, beside me as lain
Staring at me, a smile on her face

I beamed back at her, together we stood
And chased around, as fast as we could
With giggles and chuckles, we laugh out aloud
Till high up we go, to the cloudy blue sky

And flying we go, not under control
Chasing around still are we
Forgotten to think, blurry yet clear
It always was light with you

From sunrise to sunset, around and around
We chase each other, both feather alight
With cackles and laughs, chuckles and grins
To the apple tree back we go

Tired now are we, farewell we both say
Farewell but not goodbye
For again you will go, and I nap and I wait...
