Meta Morphosis (RIP figure skating / hail and rain)
A wooden desk holds heavy possibilities
of an important message saved in a little cell phone.
I memorized your number but
unmentioned love never felt so alone.
I am so unsure my cushioned chair feels like a stone.
Mixed lights shines through a window
making darkness real in my heart.
My 'I love you' saved in a cell phone
breaking out to become an
This phone is a lonely cage.
My mind wrestles with my heart.
put love off the chart.
If only my tiny fingers didn't listen.
Humongous hopes make a phone glisten.
If only 8 little letters would
wrap around you.
I wish they would hug you.
Minutes ticking away
causing my eye lashes to flicker.
These see through pearls shouldn't
fall any quicker
I am sure you hit delete
but hundreds of miles
make me blind.
I never meant for my words to choke you.
They were only meant to caress you.
All the little beeps synchronize
with the beating of a very important message.
Please don't keep the 8 little pieces of
my heart locked away in a cell phone cage.
