Importance Of Purpose Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Importance Of Purpose

Rating: 5.0

Merely existing is not enough
Sharing a distinct reason for being
Giving joy, like the fragrant scent of a rose

Light illuminates a diamond in the rough
Capturing rare radiance… revealing
All that is beautiful ignites an inner glow

As dandelion fluff disperses with a puff
Each capable seed is solitarily leaving
Drifting…looking for rooting soil to grow

Seemingly unrelated in a world of limitations
All possessing something rare…yet common
Filled with the desire to surpass all expectations
