Impenetrable Poem by Matthew Foor

Impenetrable

Cold blooded
Wicked
Lonesome
Frozen
Heart
Brick wall
Backed by barbed wire
Behind steal doors
Dead bolted
Chained
No peep hole
Ravenous dogs
Guarding
Razor sharp teeth
Slippery
With hungry saliva
Panting with a beat
In unison
Showing their teeth
Hoping someone tries
To gain entry
Entry
To my heart.
