Imagine Poem by david lessard

Imagine

This earth was made so beautiful,
Can you imagine what heaven's like?
Imagine flowers all blooming at once,
And all the fruit just turned ripe.

Colors never before seen,
Air that is perfume to breathe,
Friends and family FOREVER,
No wants, no worries, no needs.

Angels to talk with at length,
And Peter and Paul and John,
Disciples, too many to mention,
And the list just goes on and on.

No wars, no hate and no famine,
No anger, no sorrow, no shame,
Just prayers for those below,
All given in His name.

Imagine, an earth so lovely,
Envision a lightning rod,
Lift up your eyes to heaven,
Then put your mind on God.
