Without Imagination,
How dull our Lives would be!
Trains would never leave the station,
For the World of Fantasy.

Yes, charioted on the wings of imagination, to what all magic lands we travel! Without imagination life will be so dull. It is the only type of commutation which is absolutely free. We don't require to hold a passport or visa to visit any place or see any great marvel! As poets, we are fortunate to have an abundant supply of it compared to an ordinary man! Enjoyed!

The last two lines give us a clever image of how bereft we would be if imagination didn't operate. We would wither from the inside out it we had access to fantasy. Our minds were designed to create images and to construct imaginary worlds. Once a 16-year-old student told me she was a-l-w-a-y-s b-o-r-e-d in or out of school. I asked her to define boredom and she wrote this (I've never forgotten it!) A DEMON SITS ON MY SHOULDERS DRIVING HIS CLAW IN MY FLESH. WHENEVER I GET INTERESTED IN SOMETHING, HE LEANS OVER MY HEAD, SHUTS MY EYELIDS AND WHISPER IN MY EAR, YOU'LL NEVER SEE COLORS AGAIN! She refused to believe when I told she had just written a great poem! She was too comfortable in her boredom to acknowledge the plain truth - She was a Poet.
