crowded aisles
pungent odor of sea and salt -
local fishmonger
worn soiled posters
ragged in afternoon breeze -
ballots counted
hot sun overhead
oasis on highway eighty -
waitress smiles
dandelion lawn
old man among yellow greens -
bitter wine at noon
sayonara butterfly
young woman at gate -
ship sails
