Illusions Poem by The Bloodrose

Illusions

Rating: 5.0

twisting snakes and devils red
only images trapped in your head
illusions, illusions, don’t listen to them
only to you, these things they condemn

you see music notes pass through the sky
you watch as the birds don't seem to fly
the spiraling, spinning, strange colored shapes
as your imagination, wild, escapes

you watch as the wind swirls through the air
you hear the colors whisper despair
imagine, imagine, that’s all it could be
you would think so if you saw what i see
