Illuminating Tragedy Plight Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Illuminating Tragedy Plight

Rating: 5.0

I am blessed in knowing
that which I do not write
Eric Cockrell will write

we pass on the torch
in faith knowing other hands
reach out to carry on

our life race struggles
will embrace cause needs
of our brothers sisters

waiting for equality
in life opportunities
love blessed sincerity

we pass our torches
illuminating tragedy plight
government write offs

same beating yearning hearts
same aspirations dreams fears
same simple shelter food needs

we are species same
bitter sweet life experiences
litter our souls pasts

we walk a razor sharp line
crossing out our needs
to advocate humanity needs
