Tell me, bright one, where are you now?
You were here just a few
Moments ago, but have
disappeared and left naught
but shadows.
Tell me, bright one, do you weep
At our faults?
Do we worry or sadden you
With the pain we call home?
Please tell me, bright one, why
Do you hide so?
I know few of our many try
to fix what our ancestors
have done wrong, but is that
Enough to bring your kind
Presence? Do we seem
To step away from what is
Right, or do we choose to do wrong?
Tell me, bright one, why do you leave so often?
Is it to return in hopes
That something has changed?
