Ike Poem by Angelo Ventresco

Ike

Rating: 5.0

I never met a man I really disliked.
Until at a party Imet a fellow called, Ike.
He was crude to the women,
and insulted the men.
His foul mouthed chatter never did end.
We tried to avoid him,
he took not the cue.
His voice became louder,
and cuss words did spew.
Annoying the partyers, men, women alike,
so pulling him close, I said, '' Ike take a hike. ''

I remember being at a party and there was an' Ike' there.I went into the next room to download my feelings openly but forgot about the baby intercom.Ouch! , when I went back in the kitchen the room was silent.Huge embarrassment.Ah well, we live and learn.Great writing.love Duncan
