Ignorant People Poem by joe kanon

There comes a time were I have had enough
just tired of life, its struggles are rough,
I need a buff, to toughen up, I'm weak, I don't want to seek,
laugh mock, and criticize,
while I tie this noose to my size
and ill be on my way
no time to laugh and play
this world is filled with weapons of self destruction
any thing from a gun to a pen
could definitely make a hole in your head
put you to dead, your final bed
if you think im insane, for you it must be a pain
to find the truth to what you feel
from another persons brain
In a poem and you don't even know em
so you think you should add em
you just might like em
as a friend, and you think you could mend
all his faults
all his wishes
all his desires
of ending his life, with a knife,
heal his pain with nothing to gain
ignorant people, trying to cure
what they don't know, his hearts not pure
ignorant people think that poetry is all about love
sorry gyes there is no white dove
ignorant people living in clichés,
and writing poems about love
its also about the darkness in your heart,
that most people don't respond too with all that much
