If You Really Want To Leave Poem by Rachel Brewer

If You Really Want To Leave

Don’t let me stop you, if you want to leave.
I don’t want you to pretend you love me.
My heart has been broken before.
So you can go,
Find the person you really want to be with.
I’ll get over it.
But I just want you to know that we could have been great together.
I know it, and you probably do to.
But I won’t stop you,
If you really want to leave.
Just leave.
