If You’re Gone Poem by Allyson Gordon

If You’re Gone

Rating: 0.5

If you don’t love me
I can’t stay here
If you don’t love me
I’ll love you still, dear

If you say goodbye
I’ll cry tonight
If you say goodbye
Nothing will be alright

If you’re not here
Then I can’t breathe
If you’re not here
Your love, I’ll grieve

(I feel as though this poem needs something more, so some modifications may be made at a later date.... any suggestions welcome!)

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Wow... Well if you wanted to add you could say something like 'I look into your eyes. And my heart starts to melt. Being with you is the best I've ever felt. But if you leave. And say goodbye. Then I'll die painfully from the inside...' It's just an idea but I agree with Payton. Your poem is perfect. Luv Rissa xo

If you're gone, my love will be like a fork without its prongs (ha-ha) !

I think that it's perfect the way that it is, but if you added to it, it would be even better. You really good, keep it up! Payton <3
