a very intense and selfless poem. Loving to the extent of loving the senses and feelings of the beloved... acutely sensitive thought.. love transcends the linguistic barriers yet an ernest effort to express the expression of love.

I like this poem.It create a new style concerning love. That is, if you forget me, I will not remember you either; but if you always miss me, I will miss you too, even deeper. But, what hidden in the whole poem, is the inevitable love.We can conclude this by the attitude of the poet, especially the word'if'.If you forget me, I will forget you. This attitude contains a desperate feeling. The poet must say this, if not, he may be trapped in the love, without any possibility to return. So he say this. And the next section is more easy to us to understand the love beneath the words. As a result, i will not explain it.In a word, the whole poem is about love, the deep and pure and inevitable love.Soreau once wrote in his dairy, that in order to forget the love, the only way is to love more deeply. That is really the tradgy of love.

probably, straight from your heart! I liked your 'practical' way of expressing love...though, I would like someone to love me unconditionally...

You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig.

This is the way the human mind thinks.Exchange, that is the fuel that keeps a relation versatile.Simply wonderful.I continue to learn what poetry is.

Neruda. His 'voice' is God in print. If you like this poem (I am melted by it!) , try 'I Have Gone Marking'. That I could find such imagery! ! ! ! !
