If You Can Imagine (C) 8-6-2010

Imagine living in solace,
Smiling,
Happy,
And living life to the fullest,
Then in an instant it all crumbles,
Like a rock made of dirt crushed under ones fingertips
Giving the illusion of strength and solidity
But weaker than a grade A egg
Now target that crumbling feeling at your hurt
And add a freezing jolt of hurt trickling down your spine
Through your legs, into your stomach, and into your heart
If you could imagine the pain I feel,
Then you and I,
Can see eye to eye
